I am happy to announce that I have accepted a new position as the Director of Latin America Programs & Grants at the University of Arizona. I am incredibly excited to get started (official first day is February 12)! In my position, I will be supporting the University of Arizona's Microcampuses. This program is an innovative approach to international higher education that allows international students to receive a degree from the University of Arizona while attending classes at their home institution. The first UA Microcampus in Latin America will be at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, and I will be responsible for building new partnerships with other universities in Latin America. I'm very excited for my new professional position, but I and the family are personally excited to put down roots in Tucson, Arizona (the picture below is from the recent Super Blue moon rising over the Catalina Mountains as seen from our new backyard).
